What will follow is a rant on my fathers understanding (or lack thereof) of my brother and I. Just so you're warned.

My dad up until maybe a year or two ago has always seemed like a reasonable man to me. In the recent year or so however I feel that his reasons for (trying to) taking away my and my brother's source of entertainment, relaxation, and interest is becoming old and not fit to who we are today. This disturbs me more than anything else about how he thinks we should act, that it is based on who we were maybe two or so years ago, not who we are now. Perhaps his estimation of me is still rather close dispite being a year or two old. It makes me happy to have time to myself for going online or working on web ralated things or drawing. Perhaps I do do too much of it for his comfort. But his ideas of how my brother think and act are completely intolerable to me. He claims that my brother is playing too many videogames, that he sacrafices all his spare time to think, read, do, live videogames. I know he may have been like that two years ago but he is a far different person now and my dad doesn't see it. My brother is the most diligent and hardworking person I know. He spends hours on his homework making sure that everything is finished before he even thinks to touch the systems. His brain has not degraded to mush as my dad seems to believe. He is good with stratigic and creative thinking, he has proven to be very good at writing, and he is also strong in art. My father never sees these things, or proofs of them because my brother isn't winning awards every year. He doesn't notice the hours my brother spends on writing out his thoughts or ideas, he doesn't notice the effort he puts in to completing his pictures. Dad is seeing that he is spending hours and hours on videogames, when he is obviously (at least to him and me) not. He doesn't believe us when we tell him we are perfectly conscious of the time we take to do things. And this, I find almost intolerable. I can understand his estimation of me, it's not that far from the truth, but to be put in the position to know what my brother is really like and how my dad sees him is maddening. Really I doubt this will be resolved anytime soon since it started a while ago when we changed and he didn't see it, but I just felt like writing it down for once. It's a teenage thing, I suppose, to not be understood by your parents. I'm sure most people have had problems like this before so I'm not expecting any sort of response or anything. Lol, writing this out was comfort enough.

SAImpro has been touched up a bit so the links all go to the right places now and the Rules and Info page are just about finished I think. I may come back and add more stuff later. I'm still hoping for some feedback and stuff that was mentioned in my previous entry (of course, it's only been a day). I have fun working on websites once I get an idea going that I like XB. Lol, for some reason SAImpro's layout isn't half as atrocious as when I first made it...it's probably just me XB;;

Still no actual new art but I was digging around just now and found THIS. A pic I did last October of Firth and Ephrael being rather out of character apparently, seeing as I named it oocness. *snrk* It's cute though, but it looks like I gave up of Ephie's hand, lol. =o_o= It's nice to find slightly old doodles that you forgot about.

Kitteh: Lol, it's funny but that's exactly what I mean XB. A couple years ago there were a couple really big impromanga sites and now they are all very much inactive an dead. It makes me worry if my website won't be able to get anywhere... =9_9= I'm probalby gonna have to promote it like crazy and leave the link everywhere XBBB.

huu =o_o= haven't updated in a couple days. Just felt like I should post a little something. Not that I have must to post and all that =o_o=. I do have this one landscape-y sketch I did but it's not scanned, and right now I'm suppose to be doing a take-home test so I can't go do that. Hm, I'm rather satisfied with my style recently. I still need to work on color of course but the sketching stuff I like. I never was very critical about my art though, I think. Or maybe I am and don't notice it =o_o;;. I want to work on stuff I don't usually do though, like landscapes, animals, and inanimate objects. Or work on combining those elements, but that would probably come later. Hm.. I wonder if they have a class at school for that? Fweh, that way at least I'd have time to practice somewhere without being distracted by work and such.

=o_o= I got the urge recently to restart my SAImpro project too. Click on that link to go check out the super unfinished site =9_9=. I'm hoping to get some feedback and suggestions for what I should put on the pages. There is going to be a main page pic and probably an entrance page but those aren't ready yet either... Unfortunately you'll have to use the back button to get back to the main page though, since the link to the main on each page goes to index.htm which is not the main page at the moment. =D Anyone that has time to spare to draw an impromanga or doujin is also welcome.... although that was suppose to be the first contest =9_9= meh. I also have a problem with forms... Anybody know anybody that could help me write some programing language things?? So that I can make the forms send info directly from the page to a file in my site account instead of having it go through people's e-mails (I think I want to do it with cgi?). Well if anyone's willing to help, help is very much welcome. If not I suppose I could provide instructions for setting up a default e-mail on the brower or whatever it is...

Ah, I just hope impromanga aren't so "out" that no one submits stuff to SAImpro...

Kitteh: =B Ohayocon? I think that's what it's called. =o_o= The one that Del recently went to. Perhaps Ohio is close enough for you to be allowed to go to that con =D? I heard somewhere that it was new.. but I'm not sure =o_o=

Well you see, the thing is... it's not done yet =D;; *bricked* Lol, the lines of Sora and Riku are nearly done and I still have to finish off the tree and color it and whatnot. Spike filler gift. Actually, he's pretty much a guy I saw on the drive home standing on the curb waiting for the light to change so he could cross the street. =o_o= Yep, I felt compelled to draw him, or someone inspired by him. So this pic is for Spikey, a pic of a random guy listening to music, as a filler gift cause I seriously can't draw Guy. I kinda like how it turned out, since usually I always screw up pics of people standing sideways. Then again I could have just covered up all my mistakes with his coat XBB;; *cheapcheap*.

And also, chibi chal, cause although chibis may seem easy, they're really hard (for me anyway) to get to look right.

*sneaks down to the comp NINJA STYLE* actually no, I just haven't gone to sleep yet. =9_9= felt like journaling a little so I'm gonna do that, not that I have anything scanned to show people.

...Some days I'm just really hyper, and I say and do the most stupidest things =@_@;; it's really embarrassing to remember what I was doing or to see what I wrote. Unfortunately I think I get these hyper moments all too often, especially when I'm writing... =^^;; oh well, what can I do about that.

I was just wandering though blogs and sites associated with the blogs today and for some reason I got this nice bubblie feeling I get when I find new stuff. Since this is pretty much a direct response to people's stuff... I'll just... =o_o= respond to people.

Del: =P Well, the comments seem to be almost working again! You are certainly getting comments but they aren't staying on the page that opens when you click on the comment link =o_o=. I had that problem too but I forgot how I fixed it =@_@;;; lol. Well, for now you can still just go to your account to check what people said, even if no one else can see the comments (well, besides me). *pokee poke* But now since you don't get online as often anymore it means you have to blog more! So you should do that *dance* XB

Kitteh: First, a response to your comment. =3 I'm glad you comment as it is so it's okay to not have much to say sometimes *cling* Second thing, I took a look at you're Elfwood gallery again and I was amazed by the number of comments! Lol, how long have you had the galleries? About a week? *rollroll* XDD AMAZING! Just want to congradulate you on that I guess, cause I have fun rifling through other people's comments on things I'm familier with. =^o^= oh yah, and you got mod's choice, that's just crazy! (which, I assure you, is a good thing XDDD).

Ruaki: DOUJIN*CLING*. I think you and Steph have the most mind bogglingly large collections of doujin I've ever seen (not that I've seen that many..) When and how did you start up collecting them? I want to start getting doujin but I have to order them through my dad =@_@;; and that just will not happen. The only other way I might get doujin is at cons.. which I've proved to be rather bad at.. but I think I still have time to work on that. Muh, anyway, just wondering how I should get started, cause one day I want to trade something with you, since I've seen lots of doujin in your collection that look interesting and that I want (and that will probably be gone by the time I have something to trade... but whatever...) ....=o_o=... Did you say something about wanting Get Backers? Are you talking about the manga? Or other things? Lol, this probably isn't the most wonderful place to put this stuff since you might not see it, but here it is anyway =o_o=

I want to go to a con with someone that's gone to a lot of them and knows what kinds of stuff to do and look for... Lol, I feel like such a newbie when I'm at a con, cause sure I wander around and have fun, but I have no idea what's going on where and usually I find out I missed something interesting after the con's over. *wonders what cons she may be allowed to go to this year*

=3 today was a suprisingly good day, considering that it's the first day back in school this year. We didn't get much homework today either. The teachers decided to be nice, or they don't feel up to grading our crap yet XB. I missed lunch though, cause I thought I forgot to do the geometry homework. So I was frantically doing problems and then half way through the lunch period I realized it was the wrong assignment AND that I'd already done that one that was due =@_@;; *hungry*. Mreh, at least it wasn't as hard as I imagened it would be to get back into school mode.

*pokes at the title of the entry* =P My brother said that yesterday cause we just finished watching Two Towers the other day. *amused* I thought Gollum would win at first since he's the brutal, violent, murderous type. But then I realized Dobby has magic, pretty strong magic from what I gather. XB *snrk* so I think Dobby would be more defensive and Gollum offensive but they're generally a pretty even match. *gets funny looks from people* =o__o= My brother started thinking about it, not me...

Mcat hasn't been about in a week or so. When her dad came home Sunday her connection was cut off again and she wasn't given any Internet all week long. Plus her connection to Fulan also decided that it was a good time to die on her. So New Years came and went with no news of mcat at all in her journal and no sign of her to anyone on AIM. She was off with her friends at Navy Pier watching New Years fireworks and drinking New Years sparkling grapejuice. New Years day she came back home and found there was no Internet waiting for her so instead she read the rest of Two Towers and then finished off The Return of the King while she was at it. The rest of the time mcat decided to watch her brother play Suikoden 3 or sleep or eat. She did not, however, opt to draw anything or do any work like normal useful people do. And now break has decided to start to end and she is frantically trying to evade the inevitable chains of school that drag at her arms and legs and are once again steadily tightening. =>_>=

And with that I would like to apoligize to all the people that haven't recieved thier Christmas gifts =__=;;. Seeing as break is now pretty much over and I have to start working again I doubt very much the gifts will be given anytime this week...or the next... and possibly even the next =@_@;;; Uhgsd... Anyway, do not despair! For even if I do not finish today, or the next day...or the next... =@_@;; I really will finish eventually...

Kitteh: =P lol, Vlad is a rather sexy name, yes. And you know, =o_o= that's twice in one day I have been told that I draw cute noses. XDD. And the people facing left is a right handed thing I guess, since you had it too. =o_o= I rarely draw people facing forward when I doodle now though, what's that from I wonder?

Fulan is probably still down at the moment but I felt like making a post anyway. Hn, We're having lots of problems with the server recently aren't we. Muh, that's okay, as long as it keeps going back up things are fine.

Okay, what would you do if you think some guy(or girl) likes you and you're sure you don't like them back? =9_9;; This happened to me last year and of course I told them right away that I wasn't the dating type, yadda yadda.... =o_o= oh... now that I think about it it happened in 8th grade too =^^;;; huh. Well so now I think it's happening for the third time and really I'm starting to wonder if it's me or them =o,o;; Y'know? Lol, I guess I'd just rather look than actually get involved with people, although if someone wants to be my friend I'm all for it. Well, if it turns out he likes me I guess I'll pull the usual response. =@_@;; lol, I just hope he understands where I'm coming from.

In other news, I had a dream and part of it was rather bizarre (as dreams usually are =9_9=). It's the only part I remember but I was at my old elemetry school and we were on the playground (we as in me and who ever else was with me, cause I don't remember who, I just know there was more than me). I guess I was with the guy that I met at my summer art job thing. =o_o= Anyway, he lead me over to the front of the school cause he wanted to introduce me to a relative (cousin? brother?). And as he says that the guy who plays Frodo (I know his real name but not how to spell it =^^;;) walks up (in casual wear) and yeah, that's the guy's cousin-or-brother. =o_o= Yep, and I remember somehow in the dream they really did look alike. I think it was the eyes. So really, it's not that bizarre, but I haven't thought about my summer job recently at all so where'd Vlad come from? (yah, Vlad was the name of the guy from the summer job.) Volva, his nickname was Volva I think =9_9=.... Anyway, that's the part I remember best. Meh =o_o=.

K, getting on with the pics already. First up, a scribble I did for del. She was stuck at her uncles(?) with nothing to do so I drew that for her. *snrk* I like drawing Rellik all smiley, cause he's usually all gloom and doom and such.
This was just done later on in the day cause I was bored out of my mind. =9_9= I also did a pic of a wrestler (was talking to Roo at the time) but you can see that at her blog =o_o= yah. I always draw people at an angle facing the left. Especially when I doodle I think. Maybe it's cause I'm right handed =o_o= but I don't know if they're really usually facing the left or if it's just whenever I doodle a lot of the people are facing the same direction...or something.

Ha hm, I haven't gone to sleep yet but it's so far into the next day I really can't count it as part of the previous entry. Well, I'm really just posting right now cause I finally got del's christmas gift done =B. It was done in pencil, scanned, cleaned up a bit, and Painter'ed with Photoshop text. Lol, I have this thing for purple recently, probably because of Auluzi. The bg of this is a little pathetic but I still like the pic quite a bit, especially his legs >B~~ ...*cough* eh, I have no excuse... =;;__;;= *pets him* he's so fecksie. As for Del's b-day present... uh I'll get around to that eventually.

Ah, hm, day after Christmas. Hm hm, well, hm, =@_@;; looks like all my gifts are late then huh. A shame, that. I'm a dorky and all of yesterday I was zoned out cause there were not relatives here or any of that usual stuff so nothing got done. =o_o= I got the first FLCL DVD with two eps and shoes for Christmas. Lol, I'm hoping my dad won't mind me going out to find more stuff to buy me after he gets back from Washington D.C. Lol, I crave books! FLCL completely confuses the heck outta me but that's okay XD it's still insanely awsome! =o_o= The English voices are AMAZING. They match the Japanese so closely and the noise sounds and expression sounds they make are so perfect for the scenes it's crazy! =BBB Haruko!

Ahn, yah, just got done looking at kitteh's updates. Hou, she has insane fun with del *roll* it's so amusing I laugh. *roll* And really, Kitteh has the craziest art and cging skills and stuff =o_o= GO SEE. Hm hm, looking at her site makes me wanna work on mine again, which I really really should do, even if I don't have tons of CGs to put on it. Lol, it's not like I MUST have a super crazy layout... although that would be nice...hng

One last thing really quick. I wasn't totally idle yesterday and I do have an improved sketchie of Roo's gift. =@_@= lol, did hers first cause it's KH and really easy to come up with ideas for since they're procharas. =P only little tiny preview pic, although really it does spoil the pic to bits... eh. Well hopefully it will look better finished, colored, and close up, or else I'll be sad.

Lol, I managed to get invited to a party-ish thing by the Japanese exchange student/teacher before school let out for break. And yah, today was the party. We made plates and plates of maki roll things and then ate stuff. Then, while the other people invited went upstairs to watch these really odd/violent kung fu movies me, my brother, and Takashi (the exchange student teacher) watched Laputa in Taka's borrowed room. XB;; lol, being bad at socializing is an Asian thing?? Probably not. =P Well at least half way though it this girl that I'd talked to at school before that likes anime came and joined us. =o_o= I also found out that she lives less than a block from me. All this time and I never knew, >D this is so neat. Lol, I wonder if she lives in the house I think she lives in. *Is going to check tomorrow cause she's a dork* Well anyway. We watched the movie and it was all grand and then I dug around Taka's room and found a manga and made him translate it to me XBBB yeeey *mean*. It was called Vagabond, and it's by the same person that does Slam Dunk. Taka kept laughing at me cause I flipped though the manga at least 5 times XB;; It was fun anyway, even if I wasn't with the rest of the group most of the time.

XB lol, it's rare for me to get gifts and such from people I don't really get to talk to all that often. =B lol, btw I've buddied your screenname so you should probably be able to contact me now if I'm on (sn: Mangacat). And the oC problem is with my dad's firewall, not the version of oC. I've had oC a while now and know most of it's workings. =@_@;; lol, trust me, I'm doing as much as I can to make it work again. XD lol, as you can see, I am finally free for two weeks! *dances about* Har har har, it's so good. Although right now I'm being tired as heck cause I didn't go to bed yesterday to finish that last minute project =^^;; Arghdfsdf... Days like today at school are good though XD we did absolutely nothing. I didn't get to finish Glory in US history class though, which was sad. XD Muhuhuhuha, we did origami for geometry though, that was cool. =B I lum my geometry teacher, he's funny.

The snow here has turned to rain =o_o;;; and it really felt like spring for a couple days. =B The rain came with lovely thunder and lightening though. It was loud and bright! It doesn't look like it's going to be a very white Christmas here though =;;__;;= Hou, there better be at least one snowday this year. Lol, my regular Japanese teacher wants a snow week, lol. =P She's preggers but I'm not suppose to tell anyone *rollroll*. XB Lol, no wonder she's been feeling funny and acting moody lately. *lum on teacher* I can't believe she sticks around, XB arghersdfs... WHAT ARE WE GONNA DO NEXT YEAR WHEN WE HAVE NO MORE JAPANESE TEACHER?!!?! =>_>= The school can't even mooch off a Japanese exchange student/teacher next year either. Stuupid school, hire new teachers already! =>0<= They's gonna kill her baby if they keep over working her and stuff!

XD Radio City Christmas Spactacular is too funny *rollroll*. =B Mommy got seats right in the 3rd row so we were right in front of the stage. =D The dancing and the smiles everyone had were so corny! it was too lovely XDDDD. They danced really cool though, specially the tin soldier dance thing. They were all so organized and neat it was almost mechanical XDD. Lol, I had funness =B. THERE WERE LIVE CAMALS AND SHEEP ON THE STAGE! *roll*

Everyone, let me tell you how god-forsakenly bored I am today. AAAAAAAAAAALL day today I've been waiting to get home, cause "YES!" it's finally Friday! When I get home, lo and behold I must have done something to irritate my dad again because I can't get online at all! My computer can't connect, his computers are locked up, and my brother doesn't get Internet either. So now, I've only got access to the sites on fulan.com and I've gone through each page about 4 times and hit reload on my journal at least 10 times, knowing only I can update it anyway. OH GOD I AM SO BORED!! WHAT DID I DO WRONG THIS TIME?!?! I miss being able to talk to people. Well, it's not like the people I usually talk to are on today really. Del's having a b-day party, and I believe Kitteh probably went. Roo doesn't get on til around 8 at least, and I never really know when Spikey's on =@_@;;; Hngsdfs... well at least my mom's taking me and bro to a show thingy. Christmas Spactacular =o_o= lol, I hope it helps my mood a little.

Lol, I guess the day went rather well before I got home today though. I woke up on my own this morning (like I did just about EVERY DAY OF LAST YEAR =>_>=) and had breakfast and went to school with none of my hw done.. And then managed today to turn in almost all of the assignments, and the ones I didn't turn in weren't collected. =o_o;; Talk about weird strokes of luck. Lol, but luck runs out so I really need to not do that ever again =@_@;;. I also got an A in Geometry today =3 and no hw was assigned. So up until I got home all was good. Lol... it's Friday the 13th...

Ruaki: XB lol, you put "sama" after my name, it makes me feel funny, I don't deserve a "sama" yet XB;; or I'll never get used to it, whichever.

Myar, I wish I wasn't too lazy to make more tabley stuff so that there's not so much space around the numbers. =B And just so everyone knows, the updates on an entry with the same date will appear on top.

Lol, and if you haven't had enough of the layout pic already, here it is right side up without words and such on it. Lol, I was dumb yesterday and sacrificed valuable homework time to doodle, and then I started coloring, then an idea for a layout hit me. I couldn't escape XB;; And then I worked on it more today, and I know I have homework in every subject. =@_@;; lol, I wasted time on something that wasn't even for someone else (many that I owe stuff to).

Speaking of which, since I can't seem to get my creative juices flowing concerning Christmas gift pics... I would like to know what you want for Christmas. =@_@;; lol, "you" extends to Kitteh, Del, Roo, and Spike, Since I talk to them most actively (although "actively" is now debatable). I'm still trying to draw that pic of Guy for Spike, but it's still in the sketches stage. I plan on adding a bit of color. =o_o= I also have Del's B-day pic at the sketch stage... but I kinda don't like it now so I might redo it. =B Roo's pic I also have an idea for, but that hasn't even gotten to a sketch yet. XB;;; Lol, expect many late presents people!

Ash: OC is almost like a messenger service with drawing capabilities. You dl the prog and run it off your Internet connection and directly connect to someone elses computer. Lol, the reason why mine doesn't work (I think) is because I have this screwy situation with my Internet connection... Answer the question? =^__^= lol, don't worry about not knowing things, I myself am usually pretty clueless (cause apparently I don't know what S&M means, or at least I'm not familier with seeing whatever it is written like that if I know what it is...).

I was getting tired of the layout and I was getting tired of trying to get that KH pic to work with me XD;;; lol, So here's this instead =^__^= I'm really rather proud of it too. There's still a bit of tweeking I need to do here and there. And stuff I wanna add to the right of this. The guy that keeps appearing in my layouts is Forever. Lol, he has that corny not-name because he was created a long time ago as the name of a journal I had to write for class. Since then he's been my lil angel person that guards my journals or something of that sort. Since Forever isn't really a name we shall all call him Evie. Somewhat interesting tidbit: Forever was created before Chal =B. *pet him* He looks so androgynous here though XB lol. Myarg, gonna fix stuff and then I shall come back and update entry. Hopefully I will think of something to put in that area next to the entries by then too. =D Yew like nuu layout? It don't load tuu slow?
